Effects of foot reflexology on pain in Parkinson’s disease
Project Summary
Pain is a common and disabling symptom of Parkinson's disease, often resistant to medication. In this study, we compared the effects of foot reflexology, a specialized foot massage, to those of standard massages on the reduction of chronic pain and certain brain parameters in patients with Parkinson's disease.
