Title
Neurofeedback: a potential method to downregulate pathological brain activity?
Project Summary
Neurofeedback consists of learning to self-regulate one’s brain activity. The objective of this project is to assess the feasibility of neurofeedback aiming to downregulate the pathological brain activity associated with Parkinson’s disease, by determining if it can rely on external recordings only, (requiring no surgical procedure) and be conducted on treatment, as well as how it can modulate the activity from deep brain regions that are affected by the disease.
