Title
Gut and Parkinson’s disease : separate the wheat from the chaff.
Project Summary
Parkinson's disease is classically described as a movement disorder of the CNS. It is however now well established that the disease is not limited to the CNS, but also extends to peripheral organs, including the gastrointestinal tract. There is a plethora of literature on the possible roles of the gut in Parkinson’s disease, and much has been said on the subject. We propose to critically discuss these different aspects.
