Following the success of its 2022 and 2023 editions, France Parkinson organises
two unique days in 2024,
focusing on advances in Parkinson's disease research
Presentation
Thanks to generous donors, France Parkinson is able each year to fund numerous research projects. The “Parlons Recherche” event is a unique opportunity to present some of them, and give you the chance to talk directly to researchers supported by the Association.
If you live near Maizières-lès-Metz or Toulouse, you can join us on site to listen to and talk directly with the researchers.
Each event is organised around a 2-hour conference during which researchers present their projects and join to answer your questions.
To get the full experience of “Parlons Recherche” when on site you can visit a “Discovery area” featuring various stands, including poster presentations by young researchers, fun games to help you better understand the disease, observation of nerve cells using a digital microscope, and much more.
If you can't make it to the event, don't worry: the conferences are also broadcasted live, and you will be able to ask questions to the researchers using a dedicated chat room.
It will even be possible to watch (or re-watch!) the replays of the conferences after the events.
Registration is required to ensure the smooth organization and running of each day.

On Friday, October 25, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm (UTC+02h00)
Salle Le TRAM - Maizières-lès-Metz
While good nutrition and regular physical activity are important for everyone, they are two particularly important factors that should not be neglected when it comes to improving the quality of life of people with the disease. Parkinson beyond motor symptoms
On Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 1:30pm to 5:30pm (UTC+02h00)
Espaces du Stadium - Toulouse
Parkinson's isn't just a movement disorder. Researchers will try to answer the following questions: How can we optimize the management of non-motor symptoms such as pain? Can the different dimensions of a patient's personality lead to more individualized treatment? Are connected devices useful for monitoring and diagnosing the disease? How can we better support couples faced with illness?
