France Parkinson research

Funding research is one of France Parkinson's long-standing missions. Since its creation in 1984, the association has sought to support researchers and thus contribute to improving knowledge of Parkinson's disease and developing new therapeutic strategies.

These projects are selected by specialists of Parkinson's disease with the skills required to judge the merits and scientific value of research on which they are asked to vote, and to ensure that these projects are in line with the association's strategic mission.

and fundamental sciences

With backgrounds in medical, clinical and fundamental sciences, 50% of the 16 members of France Parkinson's Scientific Advisory Board are clinical neurologists and 50% are researchers. All are volunteers from the France Parkinson association.
